Kenobi
Kenobi was raised as an active pet in a family environment, but was returned to us after his family experienced a major loss. We gave him a shot at being a sled dog - but it's just not really his thing. Happy to lounge or hike, whatever you're up for, Kenobi is too! He has been trained to skijor and would make an excellent dog for a beginner or casual skier.
Age: 4
Sex: Male
Weight: 50lbs
Temperament: Dog and people friendly. Good with children. Unsure about cats.

Sleet
Sleet has has a jovial personality and loves cuddles more than anything. He doesn't enjoy distance training, so we believe he'd do best as an active pet. He has been started in bikejor and would make a great hiking companion - but he's also a great bed warmer who won't complain about lazy days.
Age: 2
Sex: Male
Weight: 50lbs
Temperament: Dog friendly. Loves people, may be a little shy at first with strangers but warms up quickly. Would do best with older children.

Blizzard
Brother of Sleet, Blizzard shares a lot of the same personality traits but is a little bigger and more outgoing than his brother. He would do best as an active pet, and has been started in bikejor. Like his brother, he is also perfectly content to lounge with you on rest days.
Age: 2
Sex: Male
Weight: 55lbs
Temperament: Dog friendly, people friendly, good with older children. Unsure about cats.

Captain
Captain ran with many student teams and competed in races all across the UP, but he recently let us know that it was time for retirement. Although technically a senior dog, Captain doesn't show it! He's an excitable little guy that craves attention and is still up for short hikes or backyard play sessions.
Age: 8
Sex: Male
Weight: 45lbs
Temperament: Dog friendly, people friendly, good with children, unsure of cats.

Ponu
This spitfire girl is sure to bring joy and excitement into your life! Although she doesn't quite make the distance teams, she's full of energy and personality. She needs someone who will channel that energy into something productive. A prime bikejor or recreational dryland race candidate, or hiking partner capable of keeping up with dedicated outdoorsy families.
Age: 2
Sex: Female
Weight: 40lbs
Temperament: Dog selective, best with males. People friendly, but is mouthy when excited. Not recommended for children or cats.
