MUSHING CLUB

In 2016, a student named Adam at Michigan Tech inquired about a internship. He had always wanted to be a musher so Tom designed a program that would allow Adam to feel like a musher by the end. He was taught to care, train, and race the dogs. After completing the internship, he came back in 2018 to run the CopperDog 80. Adam expressed that he loved it so much, he wanted other students to have the same opportunity and experience.

In 2019 Adam started Michigan Tech's Mushing Club.

Now in 2026, Michigan Tech's Mushing Club has 15 highly active members and many more members listed under the club's involvement link. Their current goal is to expand their club and participate in more races.
